New Cornish beds: chosen by you
We’ve just unveiled brand new designs of our classic bed collection - all inspired by requests from our customers. They spoke and we listened.
Many customers want to bespoke their bed design to achieve exactly the right look for them, so we often adapt the finish to meet their individual needs. Rather than creating a new range, we decided to offer more choice by adding to our current selection of bed styles.
Each new design is a variation on one of our classic beds, all with new finishes or added features.
Our range of hand cast beds, made from scratch by skilled craftsmen in the heart of Cornwall, now includes a clear powder-coated Maud, as well as Mauds finished in brass or paint, a black and nickel Elizabeth, and an opulent four poster Billy.
“The new designs have come about solely as a result of customers asking us to bespoke their beds - so we listened, and worked the new styles into our collection,” explains Cornish Bed’s director, Garry Smith.
“These are some of our most sought after beds so we’re thrilled that we’re able to offer our customers more options to give them exactly what they want.
“We’ve been working hard during the summer months to add to our portfolio, so it’s great to be able to finally share these designs with everyone.”
Cornish bed frames are hand poured using gravity casting and individually numbered, creating a unique product for every customer. The iron beds are powder-coated in a choice of colours and the brass beds painstakingly antiqued and lacquered by hand. You can find out more about how we make our beds by clicking here.
The updated range of Cornish beds is so new that they’re not yet available on our website, so if you’re interested in finding out more, give our team a call on 01726 825182.
