Our Elizabeth bedstead is a classic elegant bedstead inspired solely by tradition and captures the era in its entirety.
The Elizabeth polished nickel bed frame is complemented by solid cast mounts and 3.5” solid cast balls. Offering 2” side posts with an eye-catching centrepiece. A glamorous addition to your bedroom.
Finished in polished Nickel, with an Antique Brass option also available.

Hand cast at our Cornwall foundry and made with all the traditional fixings you would expect from an authentic re-production of a traditional Victorian nickel bed.
The Elizabeth can be manufactured as a bedstead, bed surround, headboard, or as a bedstead with no foot end, or a four-poster option - We cast our beds to exacting standards using time-honoured skills and craftsmanship. Every bed is made individually to order, numbered, and signed off by one of our craftsmen. With The Cornish Bed Company, you can be confident that your bedstead will last lifetimes and will become an antique in the future.
All our cast iron, brass and nickel beds, including our four posters are available in the nine standard UK bed sizes. As we craft our beds to order, just for you, so we can customize the size of your bed as required.

The actual footprint of the bed varies by design and is slightly larger than the standard UK mattress size, so please do measure your room to ensure enough clearance is available and refer to the table below for overall width and length of your chosen design.

Headend and Footend heights are measured from floor to the top of the ball caps. Standard under bed clearance is 30cm.

COLOURS
All our cast beds and daybeds are powder coated in the foundry by us, for a long lasting and robust finish in any of our standard range of house colours below. If you do not see a colour that fits, please contact our sales team on 01726 825 182 to discuss our custom colour service.
MATTRESSES
We complement our beds with a collection of mattresses that are all made by hand in Devon by our parent company, Naturalmat. The mattresses are a perfect fit for our beds, and cover all budgets.
All our mattresses offer great value for money, fantastic levels of comfort, combined with high levels of workmanship using the finest natural and organic materials.
