The Tetbury bedstead showcases elegance and sophistication at its best. Designed with circular simple decorative castings, complimented by inner brass spacers and top rail. Offering 2” side posts, with solid brass top caps and brass balls. The Tetbury’s fortifying design and shapely frame maintain its timeless enchantments.
Hand cast at our Cornwall foundry and made with all the traditional fixings you would expect from an authentic re-production.
The Tetbury can be manufactured as a bedstead, bed surround, headboard, four-poster bed or as a bedstead with no foot end. You can order your Tetbury in any of our 13 colour options or in any colour not shown starting from an extra £100. We cast our beds to exacting standards using time-honoured skills and craftsmanship.
Every bed is made individually to order, numbered, and signed off by one of our craftsmen. With The Cornish Bed Company, you can be confident that your bedstead will last lifetimes and will become an antique in the future.

Thought long and hard about investing in a Cornish Bed; so glad we did. The Tetbury is absolutely beautiful. My Husband wasn't keen on metal beds, but I think he loves it more than I do!
The frame is very sturdy and the height is just right. One positive for me, that might seem trivial to some, is that I can easily see and vacuum underneath; no struggling to move a heavy bed when cleaning.
Customer service was great, and I was kept updated throughout.
Two lovely delivery men called a day early to ask if I wanted the bed delivered, which I gladly agreed to. The bed was all unpacked and set up in about 20 minutes and all packaging removed. They were careful not to damage our tiled floor in the process.
I have no hesitation in recommending Cornish Beds.

This bed is absolutely stunning. I am very happy that I got the Black Gloss. The finials (you call them spacers) are more beautiful than I could imagine. I didn't know Antique Brass could look this good. I'm especially happy that I had the extra finials added to the headboard. Thank you for the care that was put into the packaging for shipment to the United States. I have checked into the stores all over the US and I know they do not make this type of bed anywhere. This was a five-year journey for me. I'm happy to be able to close this chapter. A special thanks to Julian for all the communication, assisting me with making the payment, packing, shipping, and dealing with DHL. I am ecstatic!!

Reassuringly solid construction - no squeaking or movement in the frame. Even with the basic sprung slat base my existing mattress feels more comfortable than on my old bedframe. Very happy with the quality of the product.

Cornish beds are handmade in four standard sizes; single 3ft (90cm wide), double 4'6" (135cm wide), king size 5ft (150cm wide) and super king size 6ft (180cm wide).
The standard lengths for single and double bed is 6'3" king size and super king size beds are 6'6" in length.

All our cast beds and daybeds are powder coated in the foundry by us, for a long lasting and robust finish in any of our standard range of house colours below. If you do not see a colour that fits, please contact our sales team on 01726 825 182 to discuss our custom colour service.

We complement our beds with a collection of mattresses that are all made by hand in Devon by our parent company, Naturalmat. The mattresses are a perfect fit for our beds, and cover all budgets.
