Five Most Effective Methods To Deal With Daily Stress

While it may seem like there’s nothing you can do about stress whilst being confined to stay at home, there are methods you can deploy to relieve the pressure and regain control.
Five Most Effective Methods To Deal With Daily Stress

Stress is omnipresent in our lives and with increased uncertainty of the current pandemic, it is easier than ever to become a hostage of stress and let it rule your daily lives. April has been recognised as Stress Awareness Month so we have put together five most effective methods to deal with daily stress.

According to the Mental Health Foundation 74% of UK adults have felt so stressed at some point over the last year they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope.

Some of us have mastered our physical wellbeing with regular exercise but we often neglect our mental and emotional wellbeing. Like our physical strength, mental and emotional wellbeing should be part of your day to day routine and exercised regularly to maintain a balanced and healthy life.

It takes 30 days to build a habit and with no end to this quarantine, take the next 30 days to build positive habits to help you develop a robust mechanism for dealing with daily stresses.

It is paramount to be self-aware enough to recognise the warning signs that your stress levels are running high. After becoming aware of your increased stress levels, it is important to identify the cause of your stress, and by practicing all or at least one of our tips below you can take back control and avoid more stress.

Set yourself 5 commitments for the next 30 days, one for each of our tips, to help you to best cope with the rapidly evolving COVID-19 pandemic, protect your mental health and maximise your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
