The Cornish Bed Company began hand casting traditional cast iron bed frames back in the 1990s. We use traditional casting techniques, quality materials, and cast fixings to create beds that are indistinguishable from original Victorian antique iron beds.
We can supply nearly all of our iron designs as beds, headboards, divan surrounds, four posters, and half tester bed frames. You can order an iron bed in any of our 13 colour options. We cast our iron beds to exacting standards using time-honoured skills and craftsmanship.

Each bed is hand poured using traditional gravity casting and then individually numbered making it bespoke and personal for each customer. Iron beds are robustly powder coated in a choice of many colours, and brass beds are skillfully antiqued and then lacquered by hand with a matt lacquer to ensure the finish lasts the test of time.
Hand cast
Hand crafted by our skilled craftsmen in Cornwall, these beds are manufactured using traditional Victorian casting techniques and feature Victorian cast knuckle fixings, promising a lifetime guarantee. The zinc is hand poured at temperatures exceeding 500°C and the cast knuckle joints with individual numbering make every bed unique.
